Tell us what you built or how you used AI — for business or personal life. Submit before the retreat deadline.

Present

Top entrants (as judged by our AI panel) will present their project at the retreat. Five minutes to show and tell.

Vote

The chapter votes. The winner takes home the Golden Claw trophy until the next quarter.

Judging Criteria

Each entry is scored out of 5 across three equally weighted dimensions.

Creativity

Is it novel and interesting — an idea worth sharing?

This isn't about technical complexity. It's about originality of thought: a fresh perspective, a clever reframe, or a use of AI that genuinely surprises.

Impact

Did it create real, tangible value? Impact can take many forms:

  • Commercial — revenue, cost savings, competitive edge
  • Efficiency — time saved, processes transformed
  • Societal — helping communities, improving access
  • Personal — meaningful individual transformation

Accessibility

Could other members realistically adopt or adapt this in their own business or life?

We want to encourage knowledge sharing across the chapter and reward AI use cases that inspire others to try something similar.

These criteria are designed to level the playing field. A first-timer who automates their invoicing can score just as well as someone who builds a custom ML pipeline. We're judging the thinking, the value created, and whether the idea travels — not the tech stack.
